This wreath signifies my respect for Bpangerang people and commemorates their ongoing legacy as custodians of this country.

It represents the circular track around Kaluna Island and is made from plants and feathers I’ve collected during my many visits there.

Walking amongst the giant red gums that bare the marks of generations of people who have lived here before me, I see the path ahead as a shared one.

Together we can continue nurturing our connection to Bpangerang culture and acknowledge our privilege and responsibility as custodians of Bpangerang country.

Wreath, for Bpangerang country
